ICE's flagship event of 2010 explored how innovation in engineering design and construction can underpin the challenges of a low carbon future.
On 28 – 29 June 2010, over 200 experts from the built environment sectors including architects, engineers, civil servants, and local government representatives, came together to discuss the crucial role of engineers in the global battle against climate change. They stressed the importance of investment in research and innovation as a key driver in the move to being able to achieve a low carbon economy.
